Welcome to Spring Hair Extensions Co.,Ltd!
When you search for the question "What is Double Drawn" on Google, you are likely to get an answer suggesting that in hair extensions, Double Drawn means all the hairs are of the same length from the top to the root.
But is it really so?
We often hear new customers asking if our hair is double drawn. As a factory, we are dedicated to meeting our customers' product requirements, so we do have the double drawn hair that customers seek. However, in reality, Double Drawn is not an industry-wide standard but merely an internal standard of different factories. Thus, each factory has its own definition of double drawn. The main reason for its existence is to facilitate the differentiation of the quality grade in a certain aspect of the product, specifically, the distinction in the thickness of the hair ends.
So, when you are searching for the Double Drawn Hair that meets your expectations, how can you ensure that the supplier's product aligns with your needs? Besides asking if the hair is double drawn, what other questions should you pose to your supplier?
We all know that the longer the hair, the rarer and more expensive it is.
Take the genius wefts as an example. A regular genius weft weighs 50g. In this hair weft, it usually doesn't contain a full 50g of 20-inch hair. Instead, it might consist of 10g of 20-inch, 10g of 18-inch, 10g of 16-inch, 10g of 14-inch, and another 10g of 12-inch. Of course, the shortest hair could be even shorter, and the weight of each different size of hair will vary accordingly. Such changes in the gram weight and proportion of different lengths of hair directly affect the final price and also the fullness of the hair. Here, the proportion of the 20-inch hair is what we refer to as the proportion of the specified hair length.
Still using the aforementioned genius wefts as an example, the requirement for the shortest hair to be no shorter than 12 inches versus no shorter than 10 inches will also lead to price differences. The finished product with the shortest hair no shorter than 12 inches will surely be priced higher than that with the shortest hair no shorter than 10 inches. The shorter the short hair and the lower the proportion of the specified length, the thinner the hair ends will be; conversely, the hair ends will be thicker.
Since different factories have different standards, only samples can ultimately confirm whether the customer's requirements are met. A reasonable MOQ is also the basis for the initial cooperation. During the inspection stage, you wouldn't want to make a large purchase with a significant amount of funds. In case there is a discrepancy between the factory samples and the actual product quality, the risks and troubles of bulk purchasing would be substantial. Therefore, during the initial trial stage, you would hope that the supplier can support small orders.

We are a customer-centric manufacturer. After understanding the various confusions that customers encounter during the procurement process, we have actively taken measures to optimize our business.
